How fees, schedules, and payout methods work on Velvet.

Platform fees

Velvet is free to join: there is no monthly fee and no setup cost.

Instead, Velvet takes one commission on what you earn — the same rate on every sale, tip, subscription and custom request — and it covers payment processing, hosting, and platform support.

The current rate is stated on the pricing page, and in your dashboard before you publish a link. Your payment provider's own fees apply on top.

Payout schedule

Payouts run on a regular schedule once your balance passes the minimum payout threshold.

You can track pending and completed payouts from your wallet page.

Processing times vary slightly by payout method.

Refunds and disputes

Refunds are deducted from your balance when a payment is reversed or disputed.

Repeated disputes on an account may affect your payout schedule.

Contact support if you believe a refund was issued in error.

You can receive payouts by bank transfer or another supported method, depending on your country. Add or update your payout method from your wallet settings.

Before your first payout, you'll need to complete identity verification (KYC). This is a one-time check required to keep the platform compliant and your account secure.
